When, If Ever, Will I Find That Special Someone?

I guess you need to know a little background information first.
I am a 19 year old university student in his second year of study.
I was raised in a household where I was taught to be nice to women, treat them with respect, and to never be mean to them.
I have never been in a relationship, yet have been on a few dates.
Now to my question…
Why is it that I can’t find someone who can love me for who I am?
Being in university, I have found that the girls I am interested in are either dating a$$holes or are not interested in me altogether.
Girls always say they want to date nice guys or find their “prince charming”, but yet they still end up dating guys who hurt them or treat them poorly.
Why this happens, I have no idea.
It truly does bolster the saying that “nice guys finish last”.
Sometimes I cry at night thinking how alone I am.
I have never found a girl who was interested in me enough to go out on more than a few dates and possibly get into a relationship with me.
Now don’t get me wrong, I am not shy at all when it comes to talking to girls.
I am very comfortable with striking up a conversation with a girl.
I just haven’t found anyone who can love me as a person.
Any suggestions?
I just don’t know what to do about relationships anymore.
Any help is much appreciated.
