sharing Top Universities informations and University Experience

I am always angry but I do a good job at faking it at school around people that I’m not close to but I think they know. Lets just say there was a time my life when I was souring high, wealthy and had everything a teenage girl would want. A few months ago my step mom lost her job leaving my dad to take care of the household now our family has separated. My step mom took all most all my clothes because she bought me them whenever we went shopping, she also became very mentally ill and went to live with her family. My step mom made a lot of money and my dad barely made anything. Now I’m very poor. Living in an apartment with my dad and little brother. Soon to be on food stamps and very unhappy with my life. I use to be very confident, with good grades. Suddenly, my grades dropped. I initially planned to go to a university but now I have to go to a community college. I want to move away from my dysfunctional family and start a new by living on campus. I don’t even dress up for school anymore. I just wear big jackets to cover up everyday ( I get stared at all the time). Even if I tried to dress up I wouldn’t know what to wear and don’t plan to dress up. But one thing I’ve noticed about my self is I dislike my family and dislike being annoyed. I get easily irritated, like if someone said something bad about me. I wish the worst things for them. I am also very jealous of people who have great things going for them because it seems my life just keeps spiraling downward no matter what I try and I’m beginning to give up. Thankfully I haven’t thought of suicide yet but I can’t help wishing bad for others. I really have no idea what to do anymore.

I know i still need SAT and stuff.

How would my Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits apply in this situation?
If I started out at a university (University A), and then dropped out, and then years later enrolled at another school (University B) for a degree for which the credits earned at university A did not transfer, would the Post 9/11 GI Bill still pay for my schooling at university B?

I did my college course evaluations today. Will this comment about my professor get reported? All my other professors got high ratings, but my English professor did not. This was the comment I wrote about her after completing the evaluation. All I did was tell the “truth”. Thanks for answering. God Bless.
“Do not take this teacher unless you want to fail. I made an A in English 1001, but I couldn’t even get a C in this class. My advisor told me to drop this professor’s course because she chooses the students she wants to pass. She never would meet with me during her office hours or reply to my emails. She was very rude and short with me. All I ever did was complete my work on time and treat her with respect. I’m guessing I was too nice to her, or she didn’t like the fact that I was a Christian guy who took her class seriously. I’m glad I dropped this class. I can’t believe we allow professors like this at U.L.M. What a joke!”

i was very very stupid and basically decided to try my luck on a small item This was my first ever offence, im an A* student. Will i be able to go into a very good college/university/job, and will this caution show on a CRB?

Paleontology Departments of respected, accredited colleges and universities? Is it because:
!) Almost getting your GED on the third try just isn’t a good enough academic credential?
2) A resume printed in red crayon on yellow tablet paper isn’t impressive?
3) Sitting in an interview, drooling and mumbling ‘goddidit, goddidit, goddidit–why won’t you BELIEVE’ tends to turn people off?
4) On the very surface, people know that creationists are just dumber than fence posts?

So I am engaged to marry in July and I have basically got everything sorted. I like in New Canaan in Connecticut with my fiance and we would like to have the wedding in our garden (which is quite large). I am originally from England but I moved to America to study at Dartmouth College and that’s where I met my fiance. We’re kind of having a Wedding Weekend so a two and a half day celebration starting Friday late afternoon. The out of town guests (friends and very distant relatives) are all being put in hotels. I though it would be nice for our close family to stay in our house but if you include their spouses and children it ends up being quite a few people. 14 exactly. We have a 7 bedroom house and most of which are temporarily guest bedrooms, how do you suppose we do this? I really want the family to all be together but how do I fit all these people in?

I am an international student, I applied for the U of Rochester as a freshman for this fall 2012 and I recieved an email setting me on the alternate list. It included:
“Thank you for your interest in attending the University of Rochester. The Admissions committee completed its review of your credentials for admission. Because of the large number of applicants, I cannot offer you admission today, but I would like the opportunity to reconsider your application later.
The UR Alternate List is designed for about 3% of our applicants. Each year, I have to estimate how many students are coming. If my estimate is too high, spaces in the Class of 2016 might become available, and I could offer you admission during April or May. If this possibility comes to fruition, your status will be the same as any other admitted student; you’ll live in on-campus housing and at tend Orientation.”
I’ve sent the reply, a letter of interest, new rec and couple of emails to my adviser and dean but I haven’t got any reply yet.. Keeping in mind that 2 of the other waitlisters got an acceptance!
What are my chances? What to you advice me to do?
I didn’t apply for another college and i am not planing to. Rochester is my only choice..

In addition, I am applying to:
University of Chicago, Brown, USC, Rice, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, Colgate, Emory, Harvard(grandpa went there-Legacy?)
*I am also trying to narrow this list down, any insight???

I have taken 12APs(for AP Psych, I didnt take the class, but just the test-I got 4’s and 5’s on all) also took 7 honors

Science Olympiad Team-4 years(Treasurer and Team Captain-3rd year; vice president and Team captain-4th year)-1st place in state competition for 3 years; made it to nationals once(i.e. team got first overall in state)

Im a junior in high school and I have to start thinking about colleges.
The main colleges Im interested in are: Columbia, UCLA, NYU, Brown, Stanford, UCL (University College London), Kings College London and Cornell.
I’m an international student, speak fluent English, German and Lithuanian while learning French and Italian, currently living in Switzerland, going to one of the most prestigious school available. This year I’m doing the IB, and my grades are:
English Lang&Lit HL – 6
German B HL – 7
Psychology HL – 7
Biology SL – 6
Math SL – 6
Italian ab initio SL – 7
Im predicted 39/42 WITHOUT the 3 core points.

Do you think I have at least the slightest chance to get into any of these unis ?
