Does The Uc School System Weigh Improvement In?
My first year and a half of high school my grades were sh*t, simply because I didn’t care. As of late, however, I have gotten straight A’s and started taking AP classes, specifically AP European history, AP English composition, and next year I’m taking AP english lit. AP Spanish VI, AP Gov’t and politics, and AP Chemistry 2.
If everything goes right, my final unweighted GPA will be between 3.6 and 3.75. So if I apply to UCLA do you think I will get in? I got a 29 on my ACT, and a 2150 on my PSAT (2400 scale). I started doing extra curricular stuff my junior year and started running cross country this year as well. What are my chances of getting into UCLA considering my freshman GPA was a 2.5 and my first semester of Sophomore year was a 2.275? I’m applying from out of state.
I also plan to apply to NYU, Virginia tech,University of Hawaii Honolulu, ASU, Penn State, UO, UCSB, and Stanford. I live in Oregon.
Msu Or Universit Of Vermont Undergrad, Then Top Med School?
So I didnt really do the best in school. I got a 3.6 unweighted GPA from a rather difficult high school I took 4 of 9 APs offered at my school. Got a 28 on my ACT and generally did well. My first two years were’t so stellar (3.2, 3.3s) then my last two years were in the range of a 3.7 or 3.8. Anyway I now know that I want to be a doctor. I now know how important education, and studying is and I hate to admit that I did not discover this until my junior year in high school. So what I’m asking is if I go to the University of Vermont or Michigan State University and do well, real well. And do well on my MCATs and have volunteer experience can I still get into Harvard, Yale, Standford, Hopkins med school? Or because I went to a sub-par university will I be looked down upon? Also what school (MSU or Vermont) would you reccomend I go to.

Best Laptop For University?
Hey, i am planning to get myself an laptop for University.
I can’t come to a conclusion of which laptop i should get.. There are so many!
I asked a question before this, and i asked if i should get a Mac or Windows. Windows wins
I am doing an Business Info Systems course, so that’s Business x I.T. Would probably be using programs such as Excel, Word, Photoshop or whatever i want to use..
Would the Asus Zenbook U31X do well? I mean do you of you guys have a Asus Zenbook U31X? and better yet, are you using it for university? How is it going? Recommend it? If no, please recommend me an alternative
This Asus Zenbook U31X is about $1100 Australian, which is well within my budget of $1000-$2000
I would imagine that i will probably be playing games such as Minecraft etc, not using this particularly for gaming, but it would be fun to open a game once in a while if i am bored at the library or on the bus/train etc.. I have a gaming computer at home, so that’s enough for my gaming needs.
So guys, what do you think?
Any other laptops i should take a look at?

Is Back Bay, Boston, Ma Safe?
When I am older, I plan to move to Back Bay, Boston, MA so I can either go to MIT, Boston College, or Boston University. Is Back Bay safe for me, a girl, to live by my self? Is all of Boston safe? If you could, can you make a list of bad areas and good areas in Boston? Thanks
