Barnard College is not a good place to get a balanced education. ISI Institute gives Barnard a “Red Light” for its extreme leftist/feminist/lesbian radicalism and liberal bigotry:
[From ISI]
“[Barnard has a] suffocating atmosphere of radical feminism that pervades this women’s college, from the classrooms to the student organizations to the upper ranks of its administration.”
“Barnard’s radicalism is so pervasive that most students have, according to one professor, “no awareness that what they’re being taught is varieties of leftism. It’s just different aspects of the truth, since there is no alternative ever contemplated…”
“The most active contingency of Barnard student life appears to be the gay [lesbian] community…Queer Awareness Month (QuAM) sponsors a monthy “Casual Crossdressing” where undergrads attend class and mince about campus in drag. On December 3, 2010, Queer Alliance hosted The Vagina Ball in Barnard Hall wherein many students dressed up as various parts of female genitalia.”
I think that you have a solid chance at both of these schools; especially if you score a 2200 on the SAT. Nothing is certain, but I think you have about a 75% chance of acceptance or possibly even more!
