Is Gpa The Biggest Factor In College Admission?

By Top University Posted in: Cornell University

I want to know if having an amazing GPA (3.8-4.0) is the main thing private colleges and universities look for in admission.
My GPA isn’t all that great, it may be a 3.77 by the time I graduate, but I’m very involved in clubs and community service.
I’m part of the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Interact (Community Service), Club S.O.D.A. (Sexual Orientation Diversity Alliance), Green Team, Garden Club, and Link Crew. I was also part of the Varsity Track team during my Freshman year.
It should be important to point out that I’m currently a sophomore in high school, but I love to stay ahead of the game and think towards the future. I take all Honors and AP classes as well.
Other Information: I’m currently in the top 8% of my graduation class of 426.
I want to Major in Pre-Medical studies to become a General Health doctor
I want to Minor in Bioengineering or Chemical Engineering
My main colleges of interest are Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Brown, and Stanford.
I took the PSAT this year and got a 150 on the selection index.
Thank you in advance for the information!!!
