Does It Matter Where You Go To College?

I’m a junior in high school and my test scores and GPA are high enough for many top-tier universities. I’m taking five AP exams next month and got a 2280 on the SAT. I’m also in multiple clubs and I’m the news editor of my school newspaper. However, I’m not heavily involved because I have [...]

Junior Year GPA: 3.93

Senior Year GPA: 4.14
I’ve really learned how to buckle down and study. SAT Score was 2120 and took mostly APS and Honors.
If I get like a 3.7+ college gpa at GMU could I easily transfer to UVA, Vanderbilt or NOTRE DAME?
Or should [...]

Act With/without Writing, Will Schools Superscore?

I have already taken the ACT (with writing) once. My school requires that I take the ACT again, in school (not on a national test day) but they do not offer it with writing. All of the schools I am applying to require the ACT with writing. Since I have already taken it with writing, [...]

Colleges That Aren’t Too Preppy?

I most certainly am not preppy and I was really interested in Vanderbilt university until I figured out how preppy the collective student body is. I don’t particularly wish to attend a “preppy” school, but I am capable of being accepted by a more selective university. Do you know of any colleges that fit this [...]
